Hey Everyone!
I hope this email finds you all doing well. I am back in Ohio working at Starbucks again and looking for a second job for the next few months. I know that in the last update I sent out, I informed you all that I had been accepted to the World Race! I'm currently in the "mobilization" part of this process. Meeting the people that are on the squad I will be part of, getting all the needed documents ready and in order and figuring what gear (backpack, sleeping bag, tent, clothes, etc.) I will need to take with me as I begin this next season of life. This World Race is the next place that God has lead me to be His hands and feet. This is my role that I play in the body of Christ. This role and work I'll be doing however, does not make me rich as far as physical money goes. We are all called to change the world around us for Jesus, some of us are in the thick of it on the ground, while other are in the thick of it by supporting the financial needs of brothers and sisters.
If any of you sense God leading you to support me financially, please do. In doing so you become a part of what God is doing world wide through His body the church on a full scale level. Supporters are not just supporters, you are partners that are bringing change to the world, by helping sending out the body of Christ to places that they couln't go to otherwise. I hope you don't feel guilted in any way as you read this to give, that is NOT what I'm trying to do. Pray and ask God if He would have you support me, if He says yes, then awesome! I know that God will supply the money needed for the trip, through ways and people I haven't even though of.
If God is leading you to support me, you can easily give online here on my World Race blog. On the left hand side of the page you'll see the ‘Support Me!’ link. Click on that, enter my full name and follow the rest of the process. If you would like to give some other way other then online, you can email me at mpcassinari@gmail.com to contact me directly. If you aren't able to partner with me financially, then partner with me by praying for me and my team often. We're going into some very dark places, and satan will not be easy going.
Live a full life with the blessings God has given and will continue to give you!
Love you all!
Mike
p.s. if any of ya'll have prayer requests that would want to share with me, and have me pray for, you can send them to me at the email address I put up above ^^^^ and I'll be praying for them.

So I like to think a lot. Probably more then I should. I seriously think one thing that holds me back in toa many situations is how much I think about them. But whatever, back on track.
Something that has really grabbed my attention since I got back in the work place once I got back to OH, is how much time there is. I know most people say that time goes faster the older you get. I don't think so. The speed of time doesn't change (as far as I know) so this has to mean then, that it's simply a mental thing that makes it seem that time has sped up. As I moved into my twenties I thought that I people where right, time moves faster the older you get. That is until this year. The realization of just how much time we are actually given in one life time in phenomenal! For real. Obviously when held up against eternity, the time we have here on earth doesn't even make a mark, but if we could just take some TIME to SLOW DOWN......and live in the moment here, I think we would discover just how much time we actually have been gifted with. We constantly are complaining about needing MORE time, yet, we never thank God for ALL the time He has given us. I think the problem isn't that we don't have enough time, but that we just don't use our time to the best of out abilities, or on the things that we should.
One thing that I know will be great about being on the WR is this. I will be using my time doing what Jesus commanded us to do, to be His hands and feet to the poor and needy. There is no better way to spend time, then to spend it doing kingdom work and spreading the gospel. It will be an amazing well spent year of my life (and who knows, maybe more then a year). :-)
Learning about life everyday.

My Dad's house is empty of everyone but me and the lonely cricket that I can hear somewhere. Today has been such a slow day for me it seems. I have so much to do, but I've been in one of those mindsets of not being sure where to start. So, I sat down and decided to see what I could do on my WR stuff, saw that I hadn't blogged yet, so I decided to do that.
Actually having a WR blog is a kinda crazy. I've read tons of other WR blogs from other people, but now I actually have one. I cannot wait for July to get here and the traveling to start. The ministries that God has led me to and taken me through this last summer have been the hardest and best season of my life, I know that as I continue to follow Him, it will continue to get better. I'm really not sure what to expect in this coming season of life with the World Race. And I think it's good not to have expectations, but at the same time have the right expectations. Here's what I mean. The right expectations would be; expecting God to completely change me top to bottom, expecting God to do great things through my team and myself, expect God to lead with His Spirit and expect life to be nothing I've experienced before. The wrong expectations; Planning out what I think God should do, and expecting Him to unfold events the way I imagined, expecting to be able to guess how God will do things.
Two different kinds of expectations. There is the right kind and the wrong kind.
Learning to embrace whatever He brings into my life, knowing that God has my good in mind, and that He is using me to further His Kingdom.
